Behind-the-ear (BTE)

BTEs are housed in a durable case that comfortably rests behind your ear while amplified sound passes down a tube to a customized earmold that fits securely into your ear. BTE’s are suitable for the widest range of hearing loss. The larger BTE provides more power and commonly used for profound hearing loss. The smallest BTE or mini BTEs are practically invisible on the ear. Depending on the power needed BTEs can be rechargeable or a large battier size 13 or 675. BTEs hearing aids come with user options like volume control, program bottoms or a remote control. Can be connected wirelessly electronic devices such as a mobile phone or TV connecters.

Receiver-in-canal (RIC)

Open fit hearing aids are small devices placed behind the ear with a thin plastic micro tube extending into the ear canal. This style is good for high frequency hearing loss or mild to moderate hearing loss. RIC aids are practically invisible, reducing the feeling of being plugged up. RIC’s hearing aids are rechargeable and Battier in the size 312. RIC hearing aids come with user options like volume control, program buttons or a remote control. Can be connected wirelessly electronic devices such as a mobile phone or TV connecters.

Custom Hearing aid (ITE, ITC, CIC, IIC)

Custom hearing aids are a good option if you want an easy-to-handle device. The traditional custom hearing aid comes in different sizes, and are typically worn fully inside the ear or ear canal.All the components are located inside a custom shell fitted to your ear. Custom hearing aids come with many user options like volume control, program buttons or a remote control. Can be connected wirelessly electronic devices such as a mobile phone or TV connecters.

Invisible-in-Canal (IIC)

IIC devices are hearing aids that are worn deep in the ear canal making them completely discreet. IIC are only battery operated. Suitable for a mild to Moderate hearing loss.

Completely-in-the-canal (CIC)

The smallest custom model, the CIC offers the ultimate in discretion as it is virtually invisible from the outside. These devices typically have a nylon strand to facilitate removal from the ear. A CIC are only battery operated. CIC are suitable for Mild to Moderate – Moderately-severe hearing loss.

In-the-canal (ITC)

This is a small and discreet custom model. The hearing aid housing sits in the ear canal, thus only filling half of the concha. The advantages include rechargeable or battery option. ITC are suitable for mild to moderately-severe hearing loss.

In-the-ear (ITE)

The housing of this hearing aid completely fills the concha. The advantages include rechargeable or battery option, the availability of a power version for severe hearing loss. Ensuring optimum performance and maximum comfort.
